I see no maker marking on it. The cast iron has intricate motifs with very fine casting quality. It stands about 12 and sits on 3 feet. It weighs 24 pounds with the shovel.
The Top is hinged in the middle and opens to hold Coal or most anything else you choose to store there. It doesn't appear to me that it's ever been re-painted, or at least not in a very long time. Inside has some surface rust that will easy clean off if you prefer.
It comes with what may be the original heavy cast and turned Brass Shovel. It fits through a recess in the top. Great visual appeal in a utilitarian object.
